I am a very organized person, enjoy cleanliness in a space, and am looking to gain experience in housekeeping. I know how important it is to keep your house or apartment nice and tidy, and have always held immaculate standards in my life in relation to this. Personal / Administrative Assistant
I have been a personal/administrative assistant for a Texas talent agent, both on-site in Dallas and remotely in L. A. for two years. I organize her entire business database, compose business e-mails on a regular basis, work on special projects as needed, run errands, work with social media, interface with very powerful people in the entertainment business, and more. I am proficient in Microsoft Word, Excel, G-mail, and most basic Mac and PC applications. I am Spanish conversational. Combined, I have over 15 years of experience in office/customer service/receptionist positions. I am in need of a somewhat flexible position, but am an extremely dependable person, and am able to work quickly and usually at a moment's notice. I am happy to telecommute, or go into an office or home.
Nanny / Pet Sitter
I think it is important to add that I have worked with kids in the past as a dance teacher and pediatric patient aid. I also used to house and pet sit in college, so I am very comfortable working in a home. In fact, it would be a joy, as I moved to L.A. two years ago, and all my family is back home in Texas!
Tutor
I have tutored Junior High, High School, and College students in a variety of subjects, including Spanish, English, Sociology and Psychology. I have worked as a freelancer, as well as through Texas State University. I enjoy helping students realize their true potential, and taking some stress away from the subjects in which they have trouble.

I do not have any family in L.A., so I think it would be very nice to work in that type of environment. I also don't have any pets, so the only thing keeping me from being 100% available all the time for work is that I occasionally get an audition or book a role. I usually go on an audition about once a month, and I book about 1 out of 10 roles, so that gives you an idea of how small a commitment you would be making to working with me under those stipulations. Despite that one need, I am extremely loyal to my employers, and am happy to make up time missed.

What I probably find most challenging in this line of work is keeping the children constantly engaged and happy, just because it can become very draining, as any parent can attest! :) But despite that, there are so many things about this type of job that are so rewarding and fun...the occasional exhaustion is totally worth it!

I love bringing value to my workplace, and I can't imagine a more comfortable, fun way to do it than to work with a family, doing a whole lot of the things I used to do at home, anyway, when I lived in Texas. It's very comforting to me. I enjoy cleaning, organizing, running errands, tutoring, playing, cooking, and more!
